Acupuncture offers a safe and effective treatment for a wide variety of conditions. I have 13 years experience in treating patients in the clinic. Acupuncture can be effective for a broad range of illnesses and complaints and the majority of people receiving acupuncture will receive considerable benefit.
Many people choose acupuncture as a preventive measure to strengthen their constitution, or because they feel unwell in themselves without having an identified illness. It can also be used alongside conventional medicine in the treatment of both acute and chronic disease.
As acupuncture treats the whole person rather than just the symptoms, patients often also experience a feeling of wellbeing and revitalisation following treatment. This means that it can be very effective when you don't 'feel right' but don't have a medical diagnosis.
About Me
I have a first class honours degree from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa and am a member of the British Acupuncture Council. I practice Five Element acupuncture, an ancient system of acupuncture that originated in China over 2000 years ago. I recently completed a 2 year graduate Five Element Acupuncture programme with Niki Bilton, one of our most renowned clinicians. I have a special interest in and many years of experience in working with infertility and IVF. I have attended both of the Integrated Acupuncture Conferences for Obstetrics and for Fertility at the Royal College of Physicians.
About the Practice
I work in two locations in Stockport - Hazel Grove and Bramhall, both of which are within easy reach of Great Moor, Marple, Disley, Stockport, Manchester, Poynton, Macclesfield, Derbyshire and Cheshire.
